The basic idea seems to me that if you are doing work you love, then work can be fun, which is different from having fun at work. I think there is truth in that which begs an important question: Do we love what we do? And if we don't, what choices can we make to change that?
This is a pretty interesting question. Work is often NOT fun, nor should it be. Work is hard. So to have fun while you are working requires interesting circumstances and the author enumerates some good ones. On the other hand, it seem not at all contradictory to believe that you can have fun while AT work. And if the two should converge than happy days all around.
